All Florida students will require 1 additional hour of training on state regulations.
Most Florida students normally take the Measurement Technician exam.
Those taking the class for the Florida Specialist Exam will require an additional 4 hours of training to meet the Florida rules.
Specialists are required to have a certain amount of experience in either radiation or radiological safety to apply to take the measurement specialist exam. If you intend to be your own anaylytical provider and have the appropriate radiation/radiological experience then the Measurement Specialist exam is suggested. Please let us know if you intend to take the Specialist Exam as soon as possible for scheduling purposes.
