As of January 1, 2008, all IL home purchasers must be provided with the Radon Testing Guidelines for Real Estate Transactions and the IL Disclosure of Radon Hazards prior to the contract being signed .

Prior to every radon test, the seller (or seller's agent for vacant homes) must also sign the Illinois NIA - Authorization Agreement
